Product and Image Metadata: We access your Shopify store's product and product image metadata, including image URLs and existing alt text, to display and update alt text for product images.
Store Information: We collect your store name and store ID to associate updates with your merchant account.
No Customer Data: We do not collect, access, or store any customer data from your store.
No Image Files: We do not download, store, or modify any image files.

2. How We Use Your Information

To display and update alt text for your product images as requested by you.
To associate alt text updates with your merchant account.
To provide and maintain the Service.
To communicate with you regarding your account or support requests.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share information only as required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

You may contact us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to applicable law.

6. Billing

Merchants receive the first 50 alt text updates free. After that, usage is charged at $4 per 50 updates. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.

7. Third-Party Services

AltMate does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. All operations run within Shopify’s ecosystem.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
